Over the past twenty seven years of my life, I have lived in Tampa Bay. I am a native to the area and Tampa Bay and I have had a love-hate relationship. I love it for the beaches, history and small coastal towns. I dislike it for it two seasons per year, congested traffic and flat static lands. During my college years, I got a B.A. in history, and a love of photography and kayaking. In this blog, I am going to convey, in photographs, the beauty of these metropolitan and small coastal towns that make up Tampa Bay. I will also periodically post pictures from my travels wherever they may take my fiancee and I.
The photos that you will see on this blog will be free from any major edits post snapping the shot. I do not do photoshop, so if it sucks the first time you probably will not see it here. I do crop photos occasionally and if it calls for a black and white image I may transfer from color post picture taking. That usually about it in regards to edits. Right now I shoot with a Nikon D40 with two lenses and a Sb-400 flash.
To get this blog off to a good start, here is a staple of Downtown Tampa and the beautiful residence of the late H.B. Plant which was turned into a museum and became the University of Tampa.
